Alanna Hurd

Alanna asked to have her bio be edited to: Alanna Hurd joined NGP in 2024 and loves being a part of this community. She recently completed her M.A. in Educational Equity, Justice, and Social Transformation at the University of Michigan (go blue!). In NGP, you can go to Alanna for general advising matters. She is dedicated to supporting students as whole people as they navigate graduate school. She acts as the liaison for our student organization, NGF, our Distinguished Speaker Committee, DEI Committee, and Symposium Planning Committee and is the point person for general NGP programming and events. Alanna loves being a part of the NGP DEI Committee and supporting their work in shaping an inclusive, equitable, and belonging-focused graduate program!
