John Monterosso

John Monterosso has served as NGP Associate Director since 2023. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology. Dr. Monterosso’s research is directed at understanding neural substrates relevant to self-control, especially in the context of addiction. He is an Associate Editor for the journal Addiction, and for the journal Cognitive Processing. His research is currently supported by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the National Cancer Institute.
